Effective: July 1, 2026
1. License Grant
White Dot grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the White Dot application on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with this Agreement.
This license does not grant you any right to sublicense, distribute, sell, lease, or lend the app or its components to any third party.
2. Ownership
The White Dot app, its code, design, features, and all intellectual property rights are and remain the exclusive property of White Dot and its licensors. This Agreement does not transfer any ownership rights to you. The "White Dot" name, logo, and branding are trademarks of White Dot.
3. Open Source Components
White Dot incorporates open source software components. Each component is used in compliance with its respective license. A list of open source licenses used by White Dot is available within the app under Settings → Open Source Licenses.
4. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the app
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code
- Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices
- Circumvent or disable any security features or encryption
- Use the app in any way that violates applicable law
- Use the app on more devices than permitted by your subscription tier
- Transfer the license to another person or entity
5. Automatic Updates
White Dot may automatically download and install updates to the app. These updates may include bug fixes, security patches, new features, or changes to existing features. This Agreement applies to all updates unless an updated agreement is provided with a specific update.
6. Termination
This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the app and delete all copies from your devices.
The terms relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability shall survive termination.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WHITE DOT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WHITE DOT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR COMMUNICATIONS.
9. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved in the courts of Kota, Rajasthan.
